The Greater Tarrant County Pest Control Association was formed in 1971 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1996. It was formed with the purpose to promote general standards and ethics of the pest control industry; to foster research and distribution of knowledge of the pest control industry among its membership; to foster, promote, maintain, and encourage the civic, social and economic welfare of the pest control industry; to cooperate with Federal, State and Local Governmental authorities for the good of the community and the pest control industry; and to cooperate with the National Pest Management Association, the Texas Pest Control Association and educational institutions in matters of interest to the pest control industry.
